Availability: In stock

This adorable rabbit was created by Juventino Melchor of the well known Melchor Family of woodcarvers from San Martin Tilcajete in Oaxaca, Mexico. Juventino carves whimsical figures out of the traditional Copal wood that is indigenous to the area, and is well known for his animal and musical animal figures. Painted in bright and cheerful colors, these figures are stand outs both for quality and for their affordability. I love this piece for how bright and cheerful the colors are, as well as the carving itself with it's long ears and cute face. This rabbit is signed by the artist, and there are no removable parts.
